Signs of the Apocalypse (again)
Entire Pacific Nation Readies Plan To Abandon Low-Lying Island And Move To Fiji Because Of Global Warming...
Kiribati, an island nation located in the central Pacific, rises just a few feet above sea level in many areas. Elevating ocean levels could soon render the entire country uninhabitable.
With leading world economic powers doing little to combat climate change, Kiribati is drawing up contingency plans to relocate the country's entire population to another island nation, Fiji, if necessary.
What climate change?
Ducks and Geese in the Midwest did not migrate south until November, but...
Turned around and migrated right back here in February, when spring-like weather returned. This is normally one of our coldest months in the Midwest.
PETA is considering the establishment of some fowl rest-stops to combat the cruelty of Mother Nature.
March Mildness in the Midwest...
Extreme cold, wind, snow and frost normally dominate this season, but flowers are blooming, trees are blooming, temperatures have consistently been in the 70s and 80s, and lawn fanatics are already out with the mowers.
The bugs love it because they never got frozen to death. Even our mold and pollen are happy. Now we will learn why there are mosquitos that look like birds in our warmer states.
Illinois Lottery Mega Millions Payout Rises to $640,000,000.00...
This is said to be the largest lottery payout ever reached in the world.
On the dark side, how much do you think it would suck to win that much money and have only 9 months to enjoy it before the coming apocalypse?

Dear Readers,
I would like to try a series called "Signs of the Apocalypse (again)," but I need your help. If you find anything that you would like to submit as a "sign of the apocalypse," please send it to me using the link below this piece and include "Apocalypse" in the subject of the email. It can be anything -- funny, witty, serious, factual, an observation, a statement, etc. Please keep it fairly short, though. When I get enough to post as a piece, I will use what you have sent and attribute it to you. Might be fun.
Thanks in advance.
